Honda is the second Japanese company after Nissan where is ready for production of the first full electric car. It will be based on Urban ev prototype that was unveiled in Frankfurt in 2017 and Honda will retain all the design features in the car that will come out of production.
Honda is already testing the prototype in various parts of Europe, and it is a Compact hatchback scheme to be presented in Geneva as a concept car. It is expected to be released on the streets of Europe in early 2020.

Honda has not set a major target for the first year of production and expects to sell 5,000 cars annually after the first full production year. Honda’s designer, Makoto Iwaki, aims to create a fun-to-drive electric car in every respect.
