The Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association recently conducted a big test in difficult winter conditions with five long-range SUVs were the protagonists. In Norway pure electric cars are particularly popular, and in combination with plug-in electric in 2018 they have surpassed up to 50% of the market.
The electric cars were the Audi e-tron Quattro, the Kia e-Niro, the Jaguar I-Pace, the Hyundai Kona EV and the Tesla Model X, where they were tested at a distance of about 900 km to see what they have in electric range, and more generally in the overall driving experience.
As far as electric autonomy is concerned, the Tesla model X was once again at the top, with the average range being at 450 km, while on the other, some disappointing were the Audi e-tron SUV and Jaguar I-Pace, where the first one has a 360 km performance while the second is a bit better at 370 km.
