The NV 200 Diesel is expected to stop from Nissan by the summer of 2019, produced in Barcelona, Spain, and one of the main reasons is that the purely electric e-NV200.
Upon upgrading with the largest 40 kWh battery, the electric e-NV200 is more and more preferred by customers, since its electrical autonomy is now sufficient for the audience targeting Nissan Van.
The e-NV200 is purely electric, with a new 40kWh bigger battery, borrowing the same battery as the new Nissan LEAF. According to the WLTP measurement, the range is 200 kilometers (125 miles) in a combined cycle or up to 301 kilometers (187 miles) in the Urban City cycle.
It has an electric motor of 80 kW, while the payload is up to 705 kg depending on the version. The warranty covers for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers the vehicle and for 8 years or 160,000 kilometers the battery performance. So far, there is no information on whether the e-EV200 will wear the upgraded Nissan Leaf Plus battery of 62 kWh.
