New Kia e-Soul haves more electric range

With a youthful and appealing look, the new Kia e-Soul electric stands out from its distinctive style, giving it a sense of uniqueness and self-confidence to anyone behind its wheel. With a length of 4,195 millimeters, the e-Soul is 55 millimeters longer. from the previous model, as larger by 30 mm. is also the wheelbase of 2,600 mm. 

The front part with the closed mask and dynamic LED projectors is enhanced by the 1,800 mm. latitudinal. The charging slot is hidden behind a cover at the front bumper height. The rear features the subversive design luminaires that come down from the body pillars and embrace the tailgate. The compact design is complemented by specially designed 17-inch wheels.

The designers paid special attention to the interior of the new e-Soul, giving priority to the young audience. In particular, it is the installation of the tweeter speakers, as well as the selector switch in the center console. The driver has all the information he needs and is displayed in the fully digital instrument panel, 7.0″ diagonal.

The new Kia e-Soul will be the first electric car in Europe to be sold exclusively in two battery versions (39.2 kWh, 64 kWh) offering an alternative at lower cost. The basic version of the 39.2 kWh is combined with a 136 hp engine with a 365 Nm torque and a range of up to 277 km. The energy efficiency of 145 Wh/km (combined WLTP) is 30% better than the most popular electric car in the European electric car market, according to the company.

The largest version of 64 kWh is combined with a 204 horsepower electric motor and offers up to 452 km of electric drive in a WLTP cycle. Consumption is only 157 Wh/km and is 24% lower than Europe’s current best-selling electric.

The new e-Soul accelerates to just 7.6 seconds from the stop for the first 100 km/hour, and both versions can charge their battery from 20% to 80% at about 42 minutes using a fast-charge 100 kW DC.
