This is new SEAT el-Born all-electric concept
SEAT el-Born is a all electric Hatch model that will put the Spanish company in the new exciting world of electromobility. It had not been long before Seat had revealed a dark and indiscriminate teaser picture carefully hiding some details of its first electric car.
Eventually, however, he released the first official images where the El-born Concept is clearly seen as officially named and will be officially presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

It is a hatchback electric car based on the MEB platform developed by Group Volkswagen for all pure electric cars that will come out of the Group’s production line. The similarities with the Volkswagen ID hatchback are several, and all Seat’s design features have been integrated to make the electric car look unique.
SEAT el-Born electric interior is quite production-oriented and even looks somewhat conventional in terms of concept cars. In the center of the dashboard there is a wide touch screen, while the switches are quite reduced, helping the simplicity of the interior. There are plenty of storage spaces, while the central tunnel between the seats is quite tall.

In addition, the model is equipped with the VW Group autonomous-driving systems, Level 2, which means that it can control the steering wheel, the accelerator and the brake with the driver’s supervision. According to the press release, el-Born will be produced in the Zwickau plant in Germany with its commercial start in 2020.
