Apple acquired Tesla’s head of electric powertrains tech
In recent years, much has been heard about Apple and its investments in autonomous driving tech, but news recently reveals that the giant of technology has big plans in the automotive industry.
So, Apple has recruited Michael Schwekutsch, where he will probably join a special team that hears “Project Titan”. Schwekutsch resigned from Tesla earlier in the month, leaving the position of the person responsible for the electric motors of Elon Musk’s company

Schwekutsch worked for this since 2015 and was responsible for the development of drive systems such as Tesla Roadster II and Tesla Semi Truck.
