In the summer, the bookings for the new mini fully electric car Peugeot e-208, which is expected to be available for sale in early 2020, will begin. Peugeot asks for a payment of € 580 during the booking process, a refundable amount up to seven days before the introduction of the Peugeot e-208. At the moment, no specific date of delivery of the mini electric car has been announced.
The fully electric car Peugeot e-208 has a 50kWh battery that offers 340 km of autonomy according to the latest WLTP test cycle. The battery is covered by an eight-year warranty for a distance of 160,000 kilometers.
Peugeot e-208 has a 100kW (134bhp) electric motor, but we do not know the performance, as the company has reported neither the top speed nor the acceleration.
The Peugeot e-208 comes with three driving modes: the “Eco” which aims at maximizing autonomy, the “normal” which aims at the comfort of passengers and the “Sport” that pays special attention to performance.

Supports fast charging up to 100kW and Peugeot claims to be charging from 0-80% in just 30 minutes. A full charge is achieved in about eight hours from a wallbox charger, while a conventional supply requires 20 hours of charging.
Peugeot e-208 also features Peugeot Driver Assist, which includes a suite of security systems such as: The adaptive Speed control system, lane maintenance assistance at speeds up to 72km/h, parking support, help and the recognition of speed limits and road signals.
