Audi announced that it will start E-Tron GT production on the same assembly line as the Audi R8, at the Böllinger Höfe plant in Germany, in 2020. In addition, the company surprised everyone by stating that it would place on the market as quickly as possible the electric sedan, utilizing the engine developed by Porsche for Taycan.
Audi e-Tron GT impressed everyone last year at LA Auto Show mainly with its design. The car industry will build two new production lines that will offer 10,000 square meters of extra space. Also, the company stressed that the production of the Audi R8 is done mainly by hand, and so we will create a new line that will support the Audi e-Tron GT.
