Audi e-tron scooter has 4 wheels with top speed 20km/h
Audi e-tron scooter may look more secure than the other electric scooter on the market, and might be a bit odd to use, but that’s not the only drawback. It has a top speed of just 20km/h and only 20 km autonomy.
Electric scooters are starting to flood the cities and there are some good reasons that this happens. It is relatively easy to use, accessible at all times, inexpensive and a fun means of moving for short distances. However, the scooters are not perfect, they present some basic problems.
With most scooters it is almost impossible to use hand signals, which is one of the biggest problems of these vehicles. Audi has examined this issue well, and has decided to fill the gap that other companies have left. The Audi e-tron scooter combines the traditional electric scooter with the peculiarities of a skateboard.
Also, according to what we know is not so easy to use, the holders must handle it like a skateboard, in essence they are called to constantly change their center of gravity through the legs. The scooter weighs 26 kilos, can be folded and transported as a trolley, and has four-wheel moving axles to better twist.

Audi says that using the scooter you feel like you are doing surf and its design allows driving with one hand. In this way the rider can easily make hand signals, informing the other road users of his intentions. It appears that the steering handle was placed in the Audi e-tron scooter to facilitate its use by people who do not know from skateboarding.
Also, the handle strain is at the same time the battery compartment and other electronic components. Through the handle the rider can accelerate or brake and with the help of an indication on it knows how much battery the scooter still has.
Audi e-tron scooter will start to be produced and sold in 2020 at a price that will fluctuate close to €2,000.
