The next two models to be launched by Renault in India, where one of them will be electric, will be models under four meters, aiming for its market share to reach 5%, while the opening of orders for the new Triber from 17 August onwards was announced. According to Mamillapalle, 75% of the Indian car market is dominated by models under four meters and the Renault India wants to be there. Mamillapalle said that the French company hopes to sell around 7,000 Triber per month and expects the model to write a success story as did the Duster.
He said that the Triber is expected to become the main driver for the company and along with the other new model, Renault India hopes to double its market share from the current 2.4% in three years.

According to him, the Triber is specially designed for the Indian market and will create a new category. He also said that Triber would be exported to markets with a skilled, such as South Africa, Indonesia and Australia.
