Audi continues the expansion of the e-Tron electric series and presents the “Coupe” version with the name Sportback.
The front is distinguished by the aggressive configuration of the bumper, with the large imports for the brakes and the characteristic octagonal Singleframe mask. On the back of the electric Sportback there is a bright stripe where it connects the rear LED luminaires to each other.
The Matrix LED headlamps located in Luminaires are another technological first for a production car, with Audi stating that each element consists of a micro mirror, in which the beam it produces can be adjusted 5,000 times the Second! In this way, the lighting is made with excellent precision and turns the road “in a rich illuminated scene”.
It impresses the coupe design of Sportback, with the strongly curved line of the roof and the spoiler that forms in its finish. The single rear luminaires are more dynamically designed, with more edges and more “frowning” style than the simple e-tron.

The inflated wings and the new diffuser, along with the optional 22-inch wheels (19 in standard, 20 for the S Line) complete the aggressive and sporty profile of the e-tron Sportback. The drag coefficient is at 0.25 (for S Line). An improvement in aerodynamics, which increases autonomy by 10 km compared to e-tron.
With the result that its autonomy reaches 466 km for the top 55 quattro, in which two electric motors are powered by a generous 95 kWh battery array, which normally perform combined 360 horses and 561 Nm of torque. Numbers that ensure an acceleration of 0-100 km/h at 6.6 sec and electronically limited final speed at 200 km/h.
When the driver activates S Mode, however, the power is explodes at 408 horsepower and the torque at 664 Nm, making time for the 0-100 km/h at 5.7 sec. The most economical version is the Sportback 50, where the electric motors deliver 313 horsepower and 540 Nm powered by the smallest battery of 71 kWh.
Expected, performance and autonomy move lower: 6.8 sec 0-100 km/h, top speed 190 km/h and 347 km between charges. With the use of a fast charger, the electric SUV Sportback can reach 80% of the battery capacity within 30 minutes.
