BMW i4 will be the opponent of Tesla Model 3 with 530 hp
BMW has designed an ambitious plan for the future, with a particular focus on electric mobility. By 2023, the BMW Group will have 25 electric models in its range whether we are talking about hybrids or purely electric like the upcoming i4.
Since the i4 was not to be launched before 2021, the German firm decided to start the teasing of its medium electric Gran Coupe early, publishing not only photographs but some extremely interesting information.
BMW promises “a new era of driving pleasure” and has equipped the i4 accordingly as announced, the sedan will use the 5th generation of the eDrive system. A modular system that includes the electric motor, transmission and electronics in a “neat package” and according to BMW, will offer “excellent performance characteristics and very high performance”.

As for those “outstanding performance features,” BMW has announced that the i4 ‘s electric motor will be capable of 530 horsepower that will be more than enough to launch its electric model at 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds!
BMW I4 will be manufactured at the company’s factory in Munich, next to models with conventional internal combustion engines such as the 3 Series Sedan/Touring and since the summer of 2020, the 4 Series Coupe.
