The Citroen C5 Aircross is presented for the first time in a plug-in hybrid version, combining increased performance with very low fuel consumption and limited emissions. The hybrid system of the new C5 Aircross Hybrid consists of the petrol engine 1.6 lt PureTech 180, an electric motor rendering 110 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque that is mounted between the engine and gearbox and a battery 200V lithium ion 13.2 kWh.
Transmission on the front wheels is via electronically controlled automatic gearbox ë-EAT8. The C5 Aircross Hybrid with the combined power of 225 hp, can move for distances up to 50 km with the use of electricity only and at speeds up to 135 km/h. This hybrid set consumes just 1.7 lt/100 km. and emits 39 g/km. Co2.

To charge the battery, it takes 7 hours in an 8A socket with a 3.7 kW charger, 4 hours in a 14A socket with a 3.7 kW charger and less than 2 hours in a 32A Wall Box with a 7.4 kW charger.
Externally the C5 Aircross Hybrid is offered with various personalization packs. One of these is the new Color Pack in Anodised Blue, which symbolizes the plug-in hybrid and is distinguished by the blue color in the front bumper parts and the Airbump of the front doors.
