In absolute numbers the Tesla seems to have attracted most of its customers from Toyota.
According to a survey by the Bloomberg agency, BMW is receiving the strongest blow since the rise in sales of Model 3 of Tesla. The survey recorded the opinion of 5,000 people who have Model 3 and models of cars replaced by acquiring it.
Although in absolute numbers the Tesla seems to have attracted most of its customers from Toyota, but the market share in the US of the Japanese automobile industry is so large that it barely affected it. BMW is the second loser in absolute numbers from Tesla.

The percentage of its total sales, however, seems to have received the strongest blow from any other car manufacturer. This is explained as the market share of the German company is not as large as, for example, Toyota (7 times bigger) in the USA.
The dynamic performance of BMW cars and the overall quality that have, is the characteristic that identifies it as a company and a key element of its sales. The sporty attitude of Tesla, however, creates pressure on the German Colossus, with the second being lost in battle.
