The electrification in Greece is still in the early stages of development, with the result that the incorporation of electric vehicles in the Greek car market is minimal.
But something seems to be changing after the public power company (Δ.Ε.Η) plans to make a wide network of electric automobile charging stations, as announced by the President and chief Executive officer of the operation Mr. Giorgos Srassis.
Mr. Srassis during the presentation of the PPC business plan, said:
“Very soon PPC will proceed to install 1,000 electric car charging stations with the aim to create a network of 10,000 charging points. In these key areas, the company intends to channel a significant part of its investment programme for the 2020 of EUR 650-700 million Euro”
