The electric EQA from Mercedes-Benz was scheduled to be launched on the market in 2020. The company’s shots regarding the body style of EQA changed but the timetable of the model remains unchanged.
The 2017 Concept EQA was a three-door hatchback with two electric motors (one on each axle), combined horsepower of 268 hp, a torque of 500 Nm and a autonomy of 400 kilometres.
As it became known in the presentation of brand GLA, Mercedes decided to use as its base the new, small SUV continuing there that stopped with the EQC and the upcoming EQB based on GLB.
The first prototypes have already begun testing on public roads with the information circulating to indicate that the technical characteristics of EQA have not been affected by the change in the bodywork.
