Renault : 200,000 full electric Zoe already produced

On November 25, 2019, at 3.10 pm, a black Renault full electric ZOE 2 Intens left the production line at the Renault factory in Flins in France with loud applause. It was the 200,000 electric vehicle that has been manufactured in the factory since the start of the production of the first generation Renault ZOE in 2012.

For this special occasion, the lucky Dutch buyer and the director of the Renault dealership who sold the vehicle were invited to the Flins. Jean-Luc Mabire, the factory’s director, symbolically handed the keys to this new ZOE to his happy owner.

Since its inception in 1952, the Renault factory in Flins has manufactured over 18.3 million vehicles. It is also the only factory of Groupe Renault and alliance around the world that manufactures the Nissan Micra (since 2016) and Renault ZOE (since 2012).

Production levels increased by more than 10% annually and by the mid-2019 were built 179,149 ZOE. Since July 2019,  Flins plant has produced more than 15,000 ZOE, which have been delivered to customers in more than 25 countries in Europe.
