Fisker Ocean electric SUV will feature a solar panel

Henrik Fisker and Fisker Inc. in the CES 2020 report presented the first electric SUV with the name Ocean. It features innovations such as the solar panel on the roof, where it can offer some miles of autonomy during the day with condition being sunny.

As for the battery will have a capacity of 80 kWh, its autonomy ranges from 402 to 482 km/h, and being able to charge through the photovoltaic panel located on the roof of the model as we mention at the beginning. The solar panel on the roof will give up to 1,610 km per year (1,000 miles), free charging according to Fisker.

Two electric motors, one per axle, will give the motion to the electric SUV while Fisker said there will be a performance version that can reach 100 kilometers per hour in 2.9 seconds. The original model is expected to have only one electric motor.
