Ford expands its electrical range by adding two production lines for hybrid plugin, vehicles. So it is possible to assemble first of the Kuga Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid and later, the S-Max Hybrid and Galaxy Hybrid to be presented in the early 2021!
Ford itself features S-Max as “Sports Activity Vehicle” (SAV) and Galaxy as MPV. Ford also says that by offering the technology of the electricity for the first time in this category, it gives a serious alternative to diesel-powered models without compromising spaces, comfort or practicality.
Both will use the engine set consisting of a 2.5 litre petrol engine Atkinson. They will also have an electric motor and a battery as we saw it for the first time in the Kuga hybrid, which will also be produced at the brand factory in Valencia.

Detailed technical characteristics have not been revealed about the new S-Max and Galaxy but in the press release issued by Ford is referred to as target the 200 horses and 210 Nm of torque, as well as the 140 grams of CO2 per kilometre in terms of pollutant emissions.
