Renault enriches the Megane with Plugin Hybrid version where it will be available at the end of the year. In the coming months, the French will reveal the improvements made to hatchback, both aesthetically, mechanically and in equipment.
The popular hatcback will add a green version, for which we only had the opportunity to look at a few test Megane vehicles. No obvious and hidden changes in the photos of facelift Mégane are disclosed. So there will be a few months between the differences between the presentation of the normal versions and this plugin hybrid.

The hybrid rechargeable Megane will have the same four-cylinder, atmospheric engine of 90 horsepower of 1.6 litres. It features two electric motors 65 and 30 HP respectively with the hybrid Captur plugin. All three together will be able to operate simultaneously and offer a total maximum power of 160 hp.
The lithium-ion battery is also the same as that of Captur, with a capacity of 9.8 kWh and with the same autonomy elements. Although the Megane will have a higher weight, consumption will be different. External sources point out that facelift Mégane Hatchback will not be the only model that will have this potential for sustainable mobility, but will also be available in the Mégane Sport Tourer.
