Skoda is expanding its electric range with a new pure electric SUV called ENYAQ. The Czech company’s first electric SUV is based on Volkswagen Group’s variable MEB (Modularer E-Antriebs Baukasten) platform.
SKODA creates a new nomenclature that combines “E” associated with electrification. Q also in the end features the successful family of Skoda SUVs. So after CITIGOe, Skoda is making another leap towards the new era of electrification.

Its name comes from the Irish name “Enya”, which means “source of life”. Enya’s etymology comes from the Irish word “Eithne”, which means “substance”, “spirit” or “principle”. ENYAQ is authentic, with a strong personality and a well-wishing accent that fits perfectly with the beginning of a new era in the history of the brand.
More than ten electric models will be released from Skoda by the end of 2022. Also by 2021 the brand will have invested two billion euros in the development of electric models.
