Progress in Giga Berlin continues at a normal pace, having overcome any obstacles, mainly with the reactions of environmental groups. Tesla’s European factory is built in Grünheide, Germany, and is 35 km (20 miles) from Berlin.
Gigafoacory 4 or Giga Berlin, is located next to the A10 motorway, where there will be a hub for entry and exit to and from the factory. There will also be access to the railway, which transports people to and from Berlin.
As you can see in the video below from YouTube channel Tesla Kid Grünheide, the trees have already been deforested. Heavy machinery is already performing the necessary tasks, while drone shootings are impressive.
The first model to be produced at the brand new Tesla Giga Berlin will be Model Y in 2021. Next will be the Model 3, which was the top-selling electric car for 2019. Batteries will also be produced for Tesla vehicles, while more than 10,000 new jobs expected to be created.
Stay tuned and we’ll let you know about every Giga Berlin progress.
