Tesla continues to expand its Giga Berlin (Gigafactory 4) operations and the project’s progress seems to be continuing as normal. Of course, Tesla wants to produce the first electric models by July 2021, with the local government of Brandenburg, which oversees the approval of the project, willing to help.
The Giga Berlin facility was officially announced by Tesla CEO Elon Musk on 12 November 2019. Is a European manufacturing plant for Tesla, Inc. that is to be constructed in Grünheide, Germany. Musk also announced the establishment of a new design and development centre in nearby Berlin.
