Tesla with small but important updates continues to improve the Model S Performance and the latest act is about acceleration. The company is now officially announcing that the Model S Performance is capable of doing 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.3 seconds.
At first reading the 0.1 seconds compared to the previous performance does not indicate anything important. On the other hand, however, reducing the acceleration to 0-60 mph in the 2-3 sec range by at least 0.1 sec, Tesla’s performance is very important.
The Tesla sedan weighs 2,241 kg and delivers 825 HP with 1,300 Nm of torque. It has two electric motors, one per axle, and the drive is sent to all wheels. It has a top speed of 163 mph (262 km/h) and a range of 348 miles or 560 kilometers per charge.

It is also important to stress that the production of the Model S began in mid-2012. Today, after 8 years, it has received significant improvements in the engineering sector. In its exterior design there were few changes but even today it remains modern and competitive.
Tesla has not yet plans the replacement of the Model S. Probably maybe in 2021 to become a major facelift.
