EV electric motors are one of the most important pieces of the power train puzzle so that the energy from the batteries can be converted into motion. How do carmakers today “build” the electric motors that wear the most popular electric vehicles?
In the video below from YouTube channel Munro Live, you can see interesting things about electric motors. On the workbench has fitted dismantled electric motors from the most popular electric vehicles such as the Model 3, Jaguar I-Pace, Audi e-tron, Nissan Leaf etc.
But at first we see the drivetrain of a Tesla Model Y underneath and it even shows us a filter that prominently at the bottom of the drivetrain. He then guides us to the workbench where you can see details of dismantled electric motors from the Tesla Model 3, Nissan Leaf and other popular electric models.
Of course the drive train of electric vehicles are still at the beginning of evolution, and in the coming years we should expect impressive improvements.
