The automotive industry is changing thanks to electric mobility and older famous cars such as Lancia Delta Integrale will be able to receive all the benefits of electrification
Lancia Delta Integrale was an Italian model where in the 80s and early 90s impressed with her performance, appearance and set up. In the racing edition Delta Integrale made history of the most successful Rally car after “swept” the championships for six consecutive years.
Today, Lancia delta Integrale can be fully harmonized with zero-pollution vehicles and turned into an electric car. The solution for this conversion comes from the French company GC Kompatition owned by racing driver Guerlain Chicerit.
According to the first announcement of the brand, which does not mention the technical characteristics of the modified model, the internal combustion motor is replaced with a high-performance electric motor, which will fully meet the sporty expectations of each owner. Also, as everything shows, the French don’t change anything in terms of the set up of the suspension and so, the electric Lancia Delta Integrale will keep its sporty genes to the fullest.
Pre-orders are expected to begin in October, when more details will be announced. Soon, the company is expected to introduce similar conversions for other sports cars of the past such as the Audi Quattro, Subaru Impreza WRC, Ford Escort RS1800, Toyota Celica Turbo and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.
