Tesla announces prices for its models in Greece

Tesla officially comes to Greece and announces the sale prices of Model 3, Model S, and Model X.

After a long wait, Tesla finally announced the selling prices of its models in Greece. The orders will initially be online and the relevant Tesla website has already been activated in its Greek version. Almost all of the company’s models are available to order except Model Y.

Of course, two weeks ago, two ads were posted on the company’s official website, which mention “Tesla’s preparation for its exciting entry into Greece in search of people who can join its team”. All this also happened after the Government had previously announced incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles and eScooters.

All Tesla vehicles with a base price of up to €50,000 before tax are eligible for a 15% subsidy with a maximum reduction of €6,000 in the purchase price for individuals or €5,500 for companies. As with all electric cars, no registration tax applies when they are purchased, they are exempt from annual traffic charges and from 1 January 2021 they are exempt from public parking charges in Greece for 2 years.

Available for purchase are three of the company’s four models, the Model S, Model 3 and Model X, with prices starting at €45,990, with estimated delivery next November and payment options of up to 72 interest-bearing installments.

All three models are available to order in at least 5 colors and with a number of other amenities while the price includes the Autopilot function. This allows the car to turn, accelerate and brake automatically avoiding other vehicles and pedestrians in its lane. At an additional cost of €7,500, the “Full Self-Driving” feature can be added.

Two more functions will be added to the Full Self-Driving package in the future via OTA software update. The first concerns the identification and response to traffic lights and STOP signs as well as automatic driving on city roads.
