Tesla Model S sale price drops again to $71,990 now!

The sale price of the Tesla Model S is falling further as the American company announced on Tuesday. The price is now down 4% and came just days after the electric vehicle industry announced record quarterly sales.

The company, which is expected to publish third-quarter figures on October 21, cut the price of that model from $71,990 from $74,990 previously. At the same time, the company reduce by 3% the original selling price of model S in China.

Also earlier this month, the automaker reduce the initial selling prices of Model 3 sedans sold on the Chinese market by about 8% to 249,900 yuan ($36,805). In terms of sales growth, Tesla announced that in the third quarter of the year it made 139,300 vehicle deliveries, a record number for the company.

However, the automaker’s shares have retreated as some analysts doubt Tesla will be able to reach its ambitious end-of-year target. Elon Musk’s company wants to sell more than 500,000 cars by the end of the year.
