Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept permanently removes the Range anxiety where it will be the most efficient electric car ever built and with the longest range. The German company has announced its plans for the upcoming electric models that will come into production under the brand name of EQ.
But the German brand did not stop there, as it released a teaser from an electric prototype called Vision EQXX, for which the company’s people say it will be the most efficient electric car ever built and with the greatest autonomy.
In fact, Mercedes-Benz people argue that the Vision EQXX will be able to cover huge distances with a full charge. In the slides of the presentation, it was even mentioned that Vision EQXX will be able to make the route Beijing – Shanghai, 1,214.3 km long on single charge.
The Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX is essentially a vehicle to demonstrate the know-how of the German brand. It will be a single model that is not going to go into production. It is developed by a Stuttgart-based team and receives support from AMG High Performance Power train UK specialising in driving units. The goal with this project, according to the engineers, is to prove that the key is efficiency and not battery capacity.

“The easiest way is to place a large battery in the car, but this leads to losses. The key is the efficiency of the vehicle and the driving unit,” say the engineers.
The aim is to pass the technologies on to the next generation of electrical
“We have created a team of engineers who have been entrusted with a great mission: to build the electric car with the longest range and the highest efficiency ever built,” stressed Mercedes-Benz’s head of research and development, Markus Schafer.
