New Mercedes EQA compact SUV with 265 miles of range
The Mercedes EQA compact SUV is the German company’s second pure electric car after the EQC 4 Matic. “The new EQA allows us to present our vision of electric mobility tailored to customers’ needs,” said Markus Schäfer, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG. Mercedes’ new Compact SUV is based on the GLA platform and will initially be released as an EQA 250 featuring front-wheel drive and an electric motor that will produce 190 horsepower. As far as the battery is concerned it will be lithium-ion technology with a capacity of 66.5 kWh.

It will be able to travel up to 426 km or 265 miles according to WLTP standard while using a wallbox it will take less than 6 hours to charge while in a fast charging station it will take just half an hour. Designally, it stands out with the single led light strip in front and rear and also features an additional fiber optic strip connecting the daytime running lights of LED headlights. Mercedes EQA compact SUV will have special wheels with alloy wheels where they will have a two-color and tricolor design and will reach a size of up to 20 inches.
It will perform well where the EQA 250 version will make 0-100 in 8.9 seconds while its top speed will be limited to 160 km/h. The Mercedes Compact electric SUV will carry basic equipment including an active lane keeping assist system and active braking assistance.

It will also have the directional change function, emergency lane function, disembarkation warning, and warning system when people are detected near crossings. The advanced MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment will also be included, where it can also be operated with voice commands.
The main equipment of the Mercedes EQA will also have LED High performance headlights, the trunk door will be easy pack technology, where it will be able to open and close electrically. It will also feature 64-color cabin lighting, luxurious seats with four-setting lumbar support and a reversing camera. Mercedes’ electric SUV is expected to be seen on the roads soon.
