ET7 is called the new NIO electric sedan where sales are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2022. NIO’s new electric Sedan has an impressive aerodynamic drag factor of 0.23 Cd and will cost from 448,000 yuan (56,590 euros).
Another important feature of the NIO ET7 is the huge autonomy of the 621 miles (1000 km) that the top version will have. It will have a total of 3 different battery versions where the first version will have a battery of 70 kWh and 500 km of electric autonomy, followed by the version with a battery of 100 kWh and 700 km of range while the top version will have a battery of 150 kWh and impressive autonomy of 1000 km.
NIO ET7 electric motors delivers 653 horses with 850 Nm of torque, with 0-100 km/h doing so in 3.9 seconds. Inside we find leather heated seats with massage function, 23 speakers, 10.2″ digital instrument panel, wooden decorations and a 12.8″ touchscreen in the center of the dashboard.

New NIO electric sedan will be equipped with a semi-autonomous driving system bearing Nvidia chip and as the NIO explains: “NIO has built up the NAD full stack autonomous driving capability including perception algorithms, localization, control strategy and platform software. NIO Aquila Super Sensing features 33 high-performance sensing units, including 11 8MP high-resolution cameras, 1 ultralong-range high-resolution LiDAR, 5 millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, 2 high-precision positioning units, V2X and ADMS. Aquila can generate 8GB data per second. NIO Adam features 4 Nvidia Orin SoCs with a total computing power of 1,016 TOPS.”
NIO had previously unveiled its own battery replacement system and wants to have 500 such stations by 2021 so that each has 13 replacement seats. This will allow these stations to exchange up to 312 batteries each day.
