Watch Ultraviolette F77 Indian sports-bike first ride
The Ultraviolette F77 is a sport electric motorcycle from India with a particularly attractive design. Of course due to Covid-19 Pandemic the whole project was delayed but things are now showing better and already in early 2021 there are positive signs.
Since the end of 2019 we have seen the first designs of the F77 but recently Ultraviolette’s founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam took the electric motorcycle on a 75 km route. So this is the first time we’ve seen the electric motorcycle in a review out in real-world conditions.

The Ultraviolette F77 is expected to compete with a difficult category of 250cc motorcycles with thermal engine but also in terms of electric competition such as Zero FXS. It features a 25 kW or 34 hp electric motor and stunning acceleration at 0-60 km/h in just 3 seconds.
In terms of charging the F77 also has a CCS charging port, indicating that it should be able to dc fast charging. There are also no data yet on the range or capacity of the battery. But with the launch expected to happen somewhere in 2021, these figures hopefully will come soon.
