Tesla Cybertrack continues to show impressive growth in pre-orders and all indications are that the consumer public is showing great interest in the futuristic pick-up truck. So far Cybertruck has amassed over a million pre-orders with production starting most likely in late 2021.
However, it should be noted that not all bookings will be made final orders but nevertheless the interest of the public seems to be huge and remains at very high levels although in recent weeks it has shown some decline.
One element that can be stressed here is that if all these bookings are converted into orders, then from Cybertruck alone, Tesla will see about $63 billion enter its coffers, an astronomical amount that will surely make Elon Musk smile.
Of course, on the other hand, there are quite a few who say that the number of cancellation orders is large in Canada and can even reach up to 50%. But if this scenario is done again 500 thousand Cybertrucks will generate revenues of up to $30 billion.
evNT Notes :
Tesla’s Cybertruck now haves more and more competition, especially with the recent unveiling of the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning where production will begin in 2022 and the Rivian R1T pick-up track where it will enter production lines in mid-2021. The Chevrolet Silverado Electric Pickup, Lordstown Endurance, Bollinger B2 and Nikola Badger(!!) pick-up truck are also expected later.
