The first Hellenic electric police car is the VW ID.4 where it recently won the title of World Car of the Year 2021, while the necessary modifications were made with the distinctive colors and the necessary lights were placed on the roof. More and more police stations around the world are now equipped with modern electric cars, thus showing their sensitivity to the environment and at the same time reducing operating costs.
The new pure electric VW ID.4 belongs to the SUV category and is the new car of the Greek Police as revealed to us a photo where it was posted on social media. It is the German company’s first pure electric SUV and is slightly larger than the VW Tiguan.
The ID.4 has a 204 hp electric motor with 310 Nm of torque while for 0-100 km/h it needs 8.5 seconds with the top speed limited to 160 km/h.The battery is 77 kWh capacity and gives autonomy of up to 522 km per charge.
