VW ID.4 was selected for World Car of the Year 2021 by a jury of 93 journalists. “We are very pleased that ID.4 has been named World Car of the Year for 2021,” said Ralf Brandstätter, CEO of Volkswagen. 93 special press journalists from 24 countries around the world awarded the German electric SUV the highest distinction and the most enviable title in the world car industry.

Volkswagen plans to deliver about 150,000 ID.4s worldwide in 2021, with the goal of launching at least one brand new electric model each year.
