The new Polestar 3 has announced that it is preparing after Polestar 1 and Polestar 2, by Swedish premium electric car manufacturer – owned by Volvo, which in turn is owned by Geely, and will be the third model in its range.
The brand new Polestar 3 is placed in the coupe/SUV category and will be manufactured at the Volvo Cars factory in Ridgeville, South Carolina, USA.It will be released on the market in 2022
It will be distinguished for its excellent aerodynamics, imposing body appearance and high performance. The photo released by the company reveals the intense wheel domes, the dynamic rear section with the wing and the slope of the roof.
“Polestar 3 will be built in America for our American customers,” said Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar. “I remember the positive response we had when I first shared Polestar’s vision here in the US. I’m proud that our first SUV will be built in South Carolina. From now on, the US is no longer an export market but a domestic one.”
The electric vehicle is based on the SPA II platform, has leading connectivity capabilities, innovative technologies and an upgraded autonomous driving system.
More information about new electric SUV will be provided in the next period. As for the launch on the market, it is planned for 2022.
