The Turkish electric car company Togg is publiclying the first photos from the production plant of the first “Made in Turkey” electric SUV.
Recently, the assembly of the first electric car to be manufactured entirely on Turkish territory was completed, with the brand’s makers “advertising” that all its components are-also-domestically produced.
The pictured electric SUV will be the first of the models to be launched, as the brand’s design includes four more models: a sedan, a small hatchback, a shapeshifter and another compact SUV.

The Togg plant in Bursa covers an area of 1,200 acres and according to what we know will employ 4,300 employees.
The company’s suppliers will be 75% Turkish companies and 25% in Europe and Asia. Among the latter is the agreement that Togg signed with Farasis to supply lithium-ion batteries.

Based on the latest data, Turkey’s first electric model will be available with a 200 and 400 horsepower electric motor (0-100 in 7.6 and 4.8 seconds respectively) and the range of movement will reach up to 500 km. In fact, charging up to 80% will be achieved within 30 minutes.
