Citroën ë-C4 Moose Test: The limits is set by the tires

The new Citroën ë-C4 compact crossover model that looks like nothing, neither inside nor outside, and this is shown by the bodywork that combines elements of crossover and coupé with special design extensions. As the platform was fully compatible with an electric powertrain from the outset, the cab of the electric C4 has no differences from that of the versions with a thermal motor.

The ë-C4 C-Cross uses the electric motor we know from the rest of the purely electric models of the huge French group, which delivers 136 PS and 260 Nm. It takes power from a lithium-ion battery which is covered by an 8-year warranty for 70% of the original gross capacity of 50 kW. the ë-C4 C-Cross of 1,615 kg is 260 kg heavier than the 130 PS automatic petrol, while at the same time the WLTP range reaches 350 km.

So the dashboard has a special design and a large part of it consists of soft plastics with a pleasant texture. The driving position is particularly comfortable, while the ergonomics have no significant flaws, especially since the air conditioner has a separate control panel with natural keys.

The Citroen e-C4 was tested on the Moose Test and the highest speed at which the testers were able to successfully take the test with the electric crossover was 74 kilometers per hour.
