With a fully electric SUV called the Smart Concept #1, it was unveiled yesterday at the Munich Fair. Smart “photographs” the form and the basic technological directions of a premium SUV of the compact segment, which is driven exclusively through electricity!

The length of the Concept #1 is 4,290 m, its width is 1.91 m and the height of 1,698 mm, referring directly to the co-milk Mercedes EQA.

In terms of design, the Concept #1 anything but Smart is reminiscent of, with its short overhangs, panoramic roof and doors without a metal frame creating a modern and youthful aura.

The rear doors open opposite to the front doors, while the LED stripe at the front and the narrow headlights are characteristic in terms of aesthetics.

The interior of the Concept #1 is sufficiently advanced – and four-seater for the occasion – featuring, among other things, a central touchscreen, the middle of the tamolo. At the same time, according to Smart, the 2.72-meter wheelbase ensures adequate spaces for passengers.

Smart does not announce any details of the technical details of the Concept #1. It is also known that the production version will be electrified (like any Smart model from 2019 onwards), with the model based on a new platform that has been developed in collaboration with Geely and is intended exclusively for electric models.
