Renault officially unveiled the new electric Crossover, the Megane, which for the occasion turns into a compact SUV. One of the strong cards of Renault’s new electric model remains the satisfactory range of 470 kilometers.
The 4.21-metre-long electric Megane E-Tech Crossover retains the dimensions of a typical compact hatchback and promises lush interior spaces, thanks to the long wheelbase of 2.7 meters.

In terms of design, it’s not far from what we’ve seen for a long time from the many spy photos during its evolutional tests. The base was the Megane eVision concept and at the front stands out the new retro style logo of the French company.
The new electric Crossover Renault Megane E-Tech shows the direction the French company wants to take by turning to electricity, while the design language of the new vehicle remains family and sporty at the same time. One of its advantages remains the very slim profile of its battery, which has an obvious benefit in the spaces offered by the Renault Megane E-Tech to passengers and luggage.

The new model will be available with two options of electric motors. One has an output of 130 horsepower and offers torque of 250 Nm, while the second offers 300 Nm of torque, with an output of 218 horsepower.
The 40 kWh battery that will be available in the most affordable version offers a range of 300 km, while the version with the 60 kWh battery will offer a range of 470 kilometers.
