VW unveils the future electric city car that will come in 2025 to fit in its “electric” range under the ID.3 and ID.4. and will have the name ID. Life

Volkswagen’s concept will go into production in 2025 and will be placed in the VW range under the ID.3 and ID.4. Unlike its older siblings, however, who have the rear-wheel drive, the ID. Life has the front drive. It also shares the same platform as these (MEB Entry), in a shorter version of the modified city car-specific version.

VW says it designed the original ID. Life as a “city car with a crossover character.” In fact, it also has a generous ground clearance of 190 mm high along with angles of approach and departure of 26 and 37 degrees respectively.

The VW ID. Life’s electric motor delivers 231 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque passing to the front wheels, a huge power for a city car, which makes the 0-100 come in just 6.9 seconds and the final one touches 180 km/h.

The 57 kWh battery offers a maximum range of about 400 km, during the WLTP cycle. It even supports fast DC charging, which can offer a range of 163 kilometers in just 10 minutes.

Also the VW new electric city car is fully sophisticated in an electric vehicle platform, and is therefore extremely spacious and practical despite its small size with a length of only 4,091 mm, a width of 1,845 mm. and a height of 1,599 mm.
