Data from the Unswitch.com company shows that Tesla is the dominant force in 39% of the global electric vehicle market. In fact, Tesla saw its sales grow in 2021 at a rate of 125%.
Tesla’s high performance in sales in 2021 versus 2020 sales justifies positive findings of how well it’s doing in all markets. And the enthusing thing for the American automaker is that sales continue to grow, and in some model versions there is a long wait for delivery.

In Canada, usa, Australia and China, most electric car drivers choose to drive Tesla. In most European countries, the dominant electric power is Nissan, with the Nissan Leaf on a very positive trajectory.
In many cases, countries have seen a change in the ranking of the best-selling electric models, with the Tesla Model 3 and the VW ID.4 gaining first place in drivers’ preferences over the Nissan Leaf.
The dominance of the Tesla Model 3 is evident in 24 countries around the world, the Nissan Leaf is the top choice in 10 countries. Good commercial performance is recorded by Volkswagen, Renault and Skoda in the world of electric cars.
