Cheapest VW ID. Series family model comes on 2025

The cheapest VW of the ID series will be called LIFE and it is a small electric car that we will see produced and offered within the B-class in a few years from now.

The prototype unveiled by VW in Munich at the beginning of last autumn best expresses the combination of sustainability and sustainable mobility with digital technologies, with a unique design ahead of its time, which will undoubtedly remain modern for many years to come.

So the German carmaker wants to offer an electric car with a defiantly low price between 20,000 and 25,000 euros.

As VW confirms today, the ID. LIFE, which is expected to enter production in 2025, is characterized by “massive use of natural and recycled materials”.

The compact EV with its crossover design influences not only moves with zero local emissions thanks to the electric powertrad system , but is also made from natural raw materials and recycled materials.

“ID. LIFE gives a first ‘through the keyhole’ of our small electric cars in the future,” said Jozef Kabaƈ, Head of Design at VW. “Innovation, sustainability and timelessness are the elements that inspire and guide us”, he concluded.
