Elon Musk predicts that by the end of 2022, Tesla’s Full Self Driving software -FSD- will drive better than humans. According to Elon Musk, the use of FSD will provide greater security than human intervention.
It may sound ambitious all of what Elon Musk describes, especially considering that Tesla’s Full Self Driving is still in a test run, but Tesla has noted in all tones that it’s interested in enriching its operations as much as possible.
We are, however, a long way from considering that the FSD software offers full autonomy options for the vehicle, without human intervention.
One element revealed by Elon Musk is that while testing began with 2000 participating drivers, during the fourth quarter of 2021, the number of Tesla owners who entered the Test Program of the Full Self Driving Beta reached 60,000.
Elon Musk, however, remains very optimistic about the effectiveness of the Full Self Driving system -FSD-, combined with Tesla Autopilot.
