Ola Electric, an Indian company that produces electric scooters, is preparing to enter the 4 wheels with its first electric car. A rendering of the electric car being prepared by Ola was shared on Twitter by its CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, showing the futuristic style the Indian company wants to showcase.
Ola’s first car looks particularly aerodynamic, with an extremely curved front and a large windshield that comes to be “merged” into the cabin of the car. On the side it looks like it doesn’t have side columns, which means that the doors may open facing each other – with the rear ones looking quite small
The company currently produces the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro electric scooters and just recently reached a production rate of 1,000 electric scooters a day, so any talk of an electric car from Ola may sound premature.

Aggarwal has expressed his interest in expanding the company’s product range with a four-wheeled model. Last August, in response to a question put to him on Twitter, he had said that an Ola electric car would be ready in 2023. In the same year, Ola has set itself the goal of selling its electric scooters outside India as well.
