New 2023 NISSAN MICRA Electric – First Video

Nissan has announced the advent of an all-new compact electric car that will replace the Micra in 2023 and is destined for the European market. The production of the vehicle will take place in the center of the Renault ElectriCity in France.

As officially announced, the new model will succeed the iconic Micra in Nissan’s range, with a different name. After the Ariya, the new EV crossover, the Japanese brand is developing another electric model with compact dimensions to further enhance its future range.

It is based on the Alliance CMF B-EV platform, which enables the group’s brands to maintain the unique style for their respective products, as evidenced by a first image released.

“This all-new model will be designed by Nissan and built by Renault, using our new common platform, maximising the benefits of our Alliance’s assets while maintaining its identity as a Nissan. It is an excellent example of our smart diversification approach. Following the Micra, I am confident that this new model will provide further enthusiasm to our customers in Europe,” said Nissan’s Chief Operating Officer Ashwani Gupta.
