The new electric truck from Nikola Motors is called Tre BEV and already last month Nikola announced that it delivered its first electric trucks with Tre battery as part of a pilot project with one of its customers.
The Tre BEV has a fairly long range of 350 miles thanks to a 753.0 kWh battery, and the total power of 645 horsepower gives it a top speed of 75 mph. Nikola says the truck can charge from 10 to 80 percent in two hours with power up to 240 kW and has a gross combined vehicle weight of 82,000 pounds.
Testing of the prototypes for the Two FCEV will also begin in the second half of 2022, with production scheduled to begin in the second half of 2024.
