Range Test: Renault Megane E-Tech – Video

This Range test for the new Renault Megane E-Tech is a big challenge since the pure electric SUV of the French automaker is a significant effort to operate with new dynamics in the field of electric vehicles.

As you can see in the video below, Bjørn Nyland will attempt a range test on the Renault Megane E-Tech and will reveal all aspects of the electric SUV.

Renault Megane E-Tech has a new “revolutionary CMF-EV platform” as claimed by the French company where it incorporates an Ultra Slim battery in 60kWh. The battery according to the standard WLTP measurement has a range of up to 470 KM while it is combined with an electric motor of 160 kW (220HP) and for 0-100 km / h it does it in 7.4 seconds.

Regarding the charging of batteries in a DC fast charger up to 130 kW, it ensures the replenishment of energy from 15% to 80% in just 30 minutes while, in terms of more conventional, domestic charging modes there is a choice between charging systems of 7, 4, 11 and 22 kW with the latter two being optional.

Also the electric motor is not mounted on the rear but on the front. An option that gives according to the French a lower floor, so more design.
