MG: New urban electric model with 11,500 euros
The New urban electric model from MG is an affordable EV where it is produced and sold in India by MG Motor India owned by SAIC Motors.
The MG Comet EV will debut as the smallest electric car on the Indian market with a price starting at 11,500 euros. The new urban electric model is based on the Air EV from Wuling where it is also owned by SAIC Motors.
Its length is 2.97 meters, width 1.51 meters, height 1.63 meters, and the wheelbase slightly exceeds 2 meters. You can see for its lilliputian dimensions but nevertheless it can carry up to 4 passengers with the driver!

It is available in two autonomy versions, the Standard Range and the Long Range. As is easily understood, the difference lies in the battery pack, with that of the first version having a capacity of 17.3 kWh and giving a range of up to 200 km, and that of the second having 26.7 kWh for up to 300 km. trail, always according to the manufacturer.
In any case, the electric motor is located on the rear axle and delivers 41 horsepower, with the top speed it gives the small electric MG Comet EV being 100 km/h. The brakes consist of discs on both axles.
Despite being designed exclusively for the suffocating urban commutes of modern megacities, the MG Comet EV sits up to four in a fairly modern and well-equipped environment.

Equipment on the domestic market includes frontal airbags, ABS, ESP, ISOFIX connectors, parking sensors with reversing camera, multifunctional steering wheel, air conditioning, digital instrument cluster, multimedia system with 10.25-inch touch screen and all electrical conveniences.
