The new VW ID. 2all with a amazement price!
The new VW ID. 2all has just been unveiled and will perhaps be a turning point in integrating electric vehicles into even the “weakest” wallets.
The new VW ID. 2all will be one of the most economical in price, in its range of pure electric cars and as the German brand reports its price will start below 25,000 euros. This means that in combination with state subsidies, it will cost even cheaper than a small car with a conventional engine.

The production ID. 2all will be launched in 2025, while design-wise it is expected to keep many elements from the prototype, as has been the case in the past with other Volkswagen models.
At the same time, this new electric car is the harbinger of the new design language of future models. In terms of dimensions, it has a length of 4,050 mm, a width of 1,812 mm, a height of 1,530 mm. and a wheelbase of 2,600 mm. It also rests on 20-inch wheels with 225/40 tires.

The very large luggage compartment of 490 liters is impressive, thanks to the very deep case under the floor of the trunk. According to VW’s executives, the car has Polo dimensions but passenger compartments similar to the Golf.
Its interior is minimal with simple and clean lines, while its key elements are the digital displays for the 10.9-inch instrument cluster and the 12.9-inch multimedia system. A pleasant note is the choices with retro indications, referring to the classic Beetle.

The original ID. 2all is powered by a 226-horsepower electric motor, and the drive is transmitted to the front wheels, for the first time on a MEB platform. It accelerates from a standstill to 0-100 km/h in less than 7 sec and its top speed is limited to 160 km/h.
It offers a range of close to 450 kilometers, and charging from 10% to 80% takes almost 20 minutes. Obviously the production car will be available in versions with lower power.

The production version of the ID. 2all is one of ten new electric models to be launched by Volkswagen by 2026. Only this year will the new ID.3, the long-wheelbase ID. Buzz and the ID.7 be introduced.
A small electric SUV will follow in 2026 and, despite the challenges, Volkswagen is also working on an electric car priced at less than 20,000 euros.
